SISI NDIO SIFUNA MOVEMENT

Led by Sifuna, Babu, James Orengo and other gallant leaders, Sisi Ndio Sifuna Movement is a progressive people centred movement that advocates for the interests of ordinary citizens and promotes citizen-focused governance, accountability, and economic justice.

"Progress occurs when courageous, skillful leaders seize the opportunity to change things for the better." — Harry Truman

LEADING FROM THE FRONT

Edwin Sifuna has increasingly distinguished himself as a leader who confronts Kenya’s most pressing national challenges with clarity, courage, and principled conviction. At a time when citizens grapple with the rising cost of living, public debt, youth unemployment, and the demand for integrity in governance, he has chosen not the comfort of silence but the responsibility of forthright engagement. Through consistent public advocacy and grassroots initiatives, he has sought to place the concerns of ordinary Kenyans at the very centre of national discourse. Sifuna presents a model of leadership grounded in duty, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare and aspirations of the Kenyan people.

STANDING WITH GEN Z

Honorable Babu Owino left the comfort of precincts of Parliament to stand with Gen Z protester at a moment the young Kenyans had taken to the streets to express their frustrations over governance, economic hardship, and accountability. He stood publicly with them, affirming their right to peaceful protest and urging restraint in police response. Babu believes that the youth, who represent the future of the nation, must be free to speak, assemble, and demand a government that listens to their concerns. That leadership requires not only words of encouragement, but the willingness to stand with the people in moments of national significance.

PROTECTING THE RIGHT TO LIFE

Senator Sifuna stood between state brutaliy and the Gen Z protesters to protect their right to life when their voices demanded to be heard. When tensions between demonstrators and security forces threatened to escalate into violence, Sifuna consistently called for restraint, dialogue, and respect for the sanctity of human life. He spoke forcefully against the use of excessive force on unarmed young protesters. He stood out as a defender of the democratic right of young people to speak, assemble, and demand accountability without fear.

WHEN HUNGER STRUCK

Senator Sifuna was at the forefront of the struggle against the rising cost of living that burdens millions of Kenyan households. He has repeatedly challenged policies and taxation measures that deepen economic hardship, arguing that governance must prioritise the welfare and dignity of the people above all else.He is a leader committed to pursuing policies that ease the economic burden on households and restore fairness, opportunity, and hope to the lives of the Kenyan people.

BIRTH OF A MOVEMNT

True leadership is inseparable from the welfare and dignity of the people. When Kenyans were begining to lose hope, a generational leader emerged from a profound desire for leadership that is both principled and attuned to the aspirations of the citizenry. Senator Sifuna is the embodiment of the collective voice of ordinary Kenyans, particularly the youth, who demand justice, accountability, and protection of their rights. He stands as both champion and custodian of their hopes, grievances, and aspirations.

THE PATRIOTS

Sifuna and Babu are firmly anchored in patriotism and unwavering respect for the Kenyan nation. For them, the Kenyan flag is far more than a banner. It is the enduring emblem of Kenya’s sovereignty, unity, and shared aspirations. They uphold the ideals it represents - democracy, justice, and national pride - by advocating for policies that protect the dignity of the nation while safeguarding the rights and welfare of every citizen. They believe that true leadership is inseparable from devotion to our country, and that the Kenyan flag is both a symbol and a solemn reminder of the responsibility leaders bear to defend the nation, its people, and its future.

SISI NDIO SIFUNA

Sisi Ndio Sifuna symbolises more than support for a single leader; it represents a collective identity for citizens who see their own voice and convictions reflected in Senator Sifuna's public stance. The movement was born as a grassroots expression of solidarity, proclaiming that the cause Sifuna champions - justice, dignity, and opportunity for the ordinary Kenyan - is in truth, the cause of the people.
